Evacuation Order Downgrade: Four Additional Bear Creek Road Properties Added to Alert List in West Kelowna Estates
West Kelowna, B.C. – The Emergency Operations Centre confirms the Evacuation Order has been rescinded for the following Bear Creek Road properties in West Kelowna Estates of West Kelowna:
BEAR CREEK RD: 1294, 1304, 1310 and 1318
An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued: however, if that is deemed necessary the process will re-commence.
Residents are asked to stay up to date through the CORD emergency site and also subscribe to receive e-updates. Visit cordemergency.ca.
Residents are also reminded to please stay off the lake north of the William R. Bennett Bridge to allow unhindered access to BC Wildfire Service aircraft.
